The CELPIP 2 tests - CELPIP LS- is required for immigrants wishing to apply for citizenship in English.

The CELPIP - General focuses on North American English, the vocabulary is based on everyday situations, particularly in a social and work context. The four language skills, speaking, listening, writing and reading, are assessed on the computer.

The CELPIP - LS accepted by the IRCC for the citizenship application validates the candidate's oral expression and listening skills. Ideal for those who have perfected their knowledge of English in Canada because the accent heard in the recordings echoes the intonations and vocabulary used in North America.
