International French Test (TFI)
The International French Test (TFI) assesses and certifies the ability of non-French speakers to communicate in French in a professional context and international exchanges. Standardized test, giving reliable scores whatever the version of the test, it measures French skills according to a continuous scale of scores.
UdeM, among other things, requires the TFI from non-French speakers to study in French.

ALC Montreal works in partnership with ETS Canada and allows students who have done a French or special TFI training to take the official TFI on its premises.
ALC Montreal offers one test date per month at the end of course preparation at TFI.
