REGISTRATION, PAYMENT, CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY ALC MONTREAL
LOCAL STUDENTS
Anyone with an address in Canada at the time of registration with ALC is considered a local customer.
Canadian citizens, permanent residents, holders of a Quebec selection certificate, diplomats and direct family (spouse and children), refugees (asylum seekers). Visitors – PVT and Temporary Residents provided that your visa is valid at the time of registration (see conditions below)
Depending on the program, ALC Montreal reserves the right to reduce the course hours per class by 50% in the event of less than 3 students present in the class and to transform the group course into a semi-private or private course at no cost. additional.
REFUND POLICY FOR DAY AND EVENING COURSES (Group and/or Individual)
TYPES OF CANCELLATION PENALTY
1. Before the start date of the session*
- 7 days or more before the start date of the session no penalty on course fees will be applied, however the registration fee of $55 is not refundable.
- Course fees will be refunded in full if they have been canceled by ALC Montreal (including registration fees)
- The course fees will be refunded in full less the REGISTRATION fees if they have been canceled by the student, ALC Montreal reserves the right to cancel the course if the number of students registered in the chosen program is insufficient.
- Educational support costs are no longer refundable once the student has taken possession of them.
- The fees of $20 and/or $25 (depending on the program chosen) for the level test are non-refundable, if applicable.
- The $55 registration fee payable upon registration is non-refundable
2. After the start date of the session*
- All lessons between the first day of the session and the day of receipt of the cancellation in writing must be paid (calculated at the weekly rate for group lessons or per hour for private lessons) Each week started will be invoiced –Private: at the rate schedule for private lessons

- Any reduction granted on course fees during registration will not be taken into consideration in the event of cancellation. In case of cancellation the regular weekly rate / regular hourly rate for private lessons will be charged and considered as the base rate for the cancellation procedure. - A penalty of 10% administration fees or ($50 if the fees exceed this amount) will be applied to the balance to be refunded.

Important : a group lesson reduced to 50% is not considered as a private or semi-private lesson within the framework of the cancellation conditions, but as a group lesson.
Cancellation by email : the date of reading the email is the date retained in the cancellation procedure: The working hours of our administration must be taken into consideration. ALC Montreal complies with article 46 of the regulations for the application of the consumer protection law.
Procedure for canceling a class within the framework of a private lesson : A private lesson can be canceled and rescheduled provided that the student communicates by email with or by telephone with ALC before 3:00 p.m. the day* preceding the lesson and not the teacher, except for what she will be charged. The course must be made up within two weeks of said cancellation. Otherwise it will be charged even if you did not show up for the lessons.
Group : A class as part of a group course cannot be canceled individually or made up
* The previous day means between Monday and Friday. If you have scheduled a course on Monday, the cancellation must reach us on Friday before our administration closes.
