The French Assessment Test in Quebec (TEFaQ) is a test designed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris / CCIP and is required by Immigration and Cultural Communities Quebec (MICC Ministry of Immigration and Cultural Communities of Quebec) as well as by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC Citizenship and Immigration Canada).

What are the tests?

The TEF Quebec (TEFAQ) consists of four modular tests:

  1. Oral comprehension: 40 min - 60 questions
  2. Oral expression: 15 min - 2 subjects to be treated
  3. Reading comprehension: 60 min - 50 questions
  4. Written expression: 60 min - 2 subjects to treat
